Wait for the reward confirmation, then open your shield collection and select the Fry Guard design.

Each account can redeem this reward once. The confirmation means the item has been added to your account; choosing it from your collection is the step that equips it. Once the shield appears there, you do not need to redeem the link again.

Find the Right Design in Your Collection

Your shield collection is also accessible through the Shield Showroom. Open the collection, locate the design you want, and select it to change your equipped appearance. This is the place to check when you have collected a skin but still see your previous design.

Check the item name carefully: the Fry Guard Shield and the earlier McDonald's Fries Shield are different collectibles. Both feature a fries carton, so the artwork alone can be misleading. Owning the older Fries Shield does not prevent you from claiming the Fry Guard version.
