תיאור

A camera angle can feel fine until a breaking ball drops out of sight. In MLB The Show 26, start with Hitting View rather than changing everything at once. Whether you're planning your lineup around MLB 26 stubs or taking your existing squad into another game, you still need a clear look at each pitch. Try Catcher, Catcher Near, and Catcher Far against the same pitcher. Watch the release point and the edges of the strike zone. Keep the view that helps you read movement, not just the one that looks good.

Give yourself room to read the field

Once the ball leaves the bat, your priorities change. You need to see where it's heading and what the runners are doing. Compare Dynamic with High under In-Play View, then check your Fielding View separately. A wider perspective may suit you if close plays leave you guessing about distances. Pitching deserves its own test, too. Broadcast and Outfield offer different looks at the delivery. Don't assume your favorite batting angle should handle every job. Pick a pitching perspective that lets you follow your motion without losing sight of the target.

Find the controls without overthinking it

To reach these options, return to the home screen and select the Settings gear in the upper-right corner. Open User Settings, then move across to the Camera tab. The Offense and Defense sections keep the relevant controls together, so you don't need to hunt through unrelated menus. Work through them in a simple order: hitting first, the view after contact next, then pitching and fielding. Change one setting, try it, and come back if necessary. That makes it easier to tell which adjustment helped and which just felt unfamiliar.

Test the blur before settling on a view

Hitting Depth of Field is worth a quick comparison once you've chosen a batting angle. Toggle it on and off to see whether the background blur makes the ball easier for you to follow. There's no need to copy somebody else's setup wholesale. Spend a few at-bats watching pitches, including ones you'd normally swing at straight away. Can you judge the outside edge? Does a low pitch stay readable? If you're still struggling, revisit the camera distance before making another change. Give each option enough time to feel familiar.

Keep the settings that earn their place

When you're happy with your choices, use the back command, such as Circle on PlayStation, to leave the menu and apply them. Then play a few innings rather than judging everything from one swing. You'll notice more during ordinary play than while scrolling through options. If you're also deciding whether to buy MLB The Show Stubs, treat that as a separate lineup decision. Your camera setup should work with the players you already have. Stick with angles that make pitches, catches, and runner movements easier to read.
