Jack Herer Seeds—Close, But Not Divine

Like waking up on your birthday ’cause you know there’s waffles—except these waffles might smell like skunk incense and hold ideas in your brain like a librarian with ADD.

So I grabbed a five-pack from https://jackhererseedsbank.com thinking hey, this one’s supposed to be a legend, right? Jack Herer. The name alone has weight. History. That whole freedom-fighter marijuana revolution thing wrapped in spicy pine and electricity. Anyway, I was hyped. Stirred even.

Germination wasn’t flawless. Three outta five popped—one of them with this weird stunted mentality, like its soul hadn't downloaded fully. That runt... I tried to nurture it. Coddled it almost like a plant therapist. Nada. Dead by week two. Whatever.

The two that took, though? Ooof. Once they got going, they went bold. Chunky colas, loud citrus-teeth terps, that cat piss twang underneath the lemon zest you either love or gag at. I love it. Makes me feel like I’m tasting in surround sound. And when you smoke that stuff—it’s not for amateurs. Slaps your cerebrum like a caffeine demon on rollerskates. You're up, alert, trying to explain 3D time loops to your dog 30 minutes in... but also calm somehow? Balanced but not soft. Like jazz played on a lightning rod.

Still. The high aside, I gotta say—these seeds ain’t perfect. Uniformity is a myth with this batch. One plant was all structure and discipline; the other grew like it had just broken up with reason. Lanky, messy, gaps in the canopy like it started arguing with itself mid-bloom.

The smell in early flower, though—I swear someone asked if I was making lemon cake in my garage...and I'm laughing, like yeah, with extra funk and a whisper of armpit. Real heads get it. Jack has that vintage museum-tone terp profile. Not trendy. Not cookie-sweet or sherb-flashy. Just old soul mj.

Would I buy again? Meh. Maybe. Not from this stock unless I’m desperate. Three outta five germination, chaotic phenos, unglamorous bag appeal. But when it lands? It lands. Like a poet-fighter hybrid strain that punches your brain then reads you a haiku.

End of the world? I'd want a jar of this. But for a consistent harvest? Probably not.
